Donating to Music Education on Giving Tuesday

If you are looking to donate locally this year, consider donating $25 to music education in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Brass Over Bridges is fundraising for a completely free summer brass workshop for elementary through high school students in San Rafael, CA.

This one-day* summer program will be presented in collaboration with Enriching Lives Through Music, an El Sistema based, year-round music program that is completely free to its students.

Participants in the program will not only engage in coachings with members of Brass Over Bridges, but will also play and perform side-by-side with BOB members. For any young student, this is an eye-opening experience that can boost a young player’s ability and confidence.

For members of Brass Over Bridges, some of the most valuable experiences we had as young musicians were in programs like this one, and we want to give back to our community in the same way.

Donations are eligible to be fully tax-deductible under the full extent of the law. Brass Over Bridges receives fiscal sponsorship from InterMusic SF.
